A TOTAL FIRE BAN for the municipalities of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes, Chichester et Sheenboro has been put in place this morning, July 16th 2026, by the Pontiac Ouest Fire and Safety Service until further notice.
These restrictions are in place to reduce the risk of wildfires due to extremely dry conditions.
We ask all residents and visitors to respect the ban and remain vigilant. Thank you for helping protect our communities, our forests, and our firefighters.
