Chichester and L’Isle-aux-Allumettes
Residents of the Municipalities of Chichester and L’Isle-aux-Allumettes should expect delivery of their brown (organics) and black (garbage) bins within the next one to two weeks.
Bins will be delivered curbside only on municipal- and ministry-maintained roads. Due to liability and security constraints, the delivery service is unable to access private roads. Each bin will be identified with the corresponding civic address indicated on the bin lid.
For properties located on seasonal or private roads that have not been maintained throughout the winter, bins will be temporarily stored at the municipal transfer site. Pickup or delivery arrangements will be coordinated in the spring once those seasonal residents have returned.
The first scheduled collection of brown and black bins will take place on Monday February 23 in L’Isle-aux-Allumettes and on Tuesday February 24 in Chichester. Municipal transfer site remains open.
If you have not received your bins in time for the first scheduled collection, please contact the municipal office. For all questions regarding bin delivery, residents are invited to contact the municipal office at 819-689-2266.
Information on bin delivery for the municipality of Sheenboro will be updated soon.
