Municipalities of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes and Chichester
Election Date: November 2, 2025
By this public notice, Alicia Jones, Returning Officer, announces the following to the electors of the Municipality of Chichester and the Municipality of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes.
The following positions are open for nominations:
Mayor and Councillors for Seats 1–2–3–4–5 and 6
Any nomination for one of these positions must be submitted to the office of the Returning Officer during the following days and hours:
From Friday, September 19 to Friday, October 3, 2025:
- 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
On Friday, October 3, 2025, the office will be open continuously from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
If more than one person is nominated for the same position, you may exercise your right to vote at your assigned polling station on the following dates:
Advance Voting Day: Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Election Day: Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
If you are unable to travel for health reasons and are registered on the electoral list as a resident voter, you may, up to October 21, 2025, request that the Returning Officer allow you to vote from your room in a recognized health facility or from your home within the municipality. The same applies to your caregiver.
You may vote by mail if your domicile is outside the municipality. To vote by mail, you must submit a request to the Returning Officer no later than October 16, 2025.

By this public notice, Ashlee Poirier, the Returning Officer announces the following to the voters of the Municipality of Sheenboro.
- The following seats are open for candidates:
Mayor and Councillors of Seats 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
- Any nomination papers for one of these seats must be filed at the office of the Returning Officer on the following days and times:
Monday, September 22nd, 2025 to Thursday, September 25th, 2025: 9AM – 4PM
Monday, September 29th, 2025 to Thursday, October 2nd, 2025: 9AM – 4PM
Friday, October 3rd, 2025: 9AM – 4:30PM
- If more than one person wishes to be a candidate for the same seat, you may exercise your voting right by going to your assigned polling station on the following dates, times:

Polling day: Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, from 10AM – 8PM
