Residual and Recoverable Material Management
The MRC Pontiac oversees waste management through a regional plan that ensures proper collection and disposal in line with Quebec’s environmental policies. Municipalities manage door-to-door collection and transfer stations, where residual and recyclable materials are processed before being sent to designated facilities.
