Public Works – Landscaping – Labourer

The Municipality of Sheenboro is looking for a responsible youth to join our team for the 2025 summer season.
The public works team is responsible for the maintenance, repair and cleanliness of public infrastructures, roads, and transfer site. It is a great opportunity to work outdoors surrounded by beautiful local scenery.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the Transfer Site
- Assist in keeping the roads and ditches clean
- Maintaining cleanliness of municipal infrastructures
- Picking up and clearing brush
- Painting
Requirements
- The candidate must be between the age of 15 and 30 years old
- Must possess excellent communication skills, professionalism and reliability
- Open availability, including weekends
- Ability to perform well in a team and independently
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks when required
- Have a good knowledge of customer service skills
- Valid drivers’ licence and vehicle is an asset
Duration
This position is seasonal and available for 8 weeks at 35 hours per week. Candidate will begin work on June 23rd, 2025
Hourly wage
$16.10/hour
