The municipality of Sheenboro wishes to inform residents that the Sheenboro Transfer site will be permanently closed as of April 26th, 2026 at 4:00 PM.
A final Large Item Drop Off Day will be held: Sunday, May 17th 2026, from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Residents will be permitted to drop off large items including but not limited to:
- Paint and Oil
- Tires
- Scrap Metal
Please note: No construction materials will be accepted on this day.
The municipality will continue to offer disposal services for brush and leaves. Residents wishing to arrange drop-off for these materials are asked to contact the municipal office to make the necessary arrangements.
**If you do not have the appropriate bins for door-to-door pickup please contact the municipal office to arrange delivery at 819-689-5022 or by email at Admin.sheenboro@mrcpontiac.qc.ca **
Council is currently in the process of negotiating with the municipalities of Isle Aux Allumettes and Chichester to establish an eco-centre that will be available to all residents in the near future.

La municipalité de Sheenboro souhaite informer ses résidents que le site de transfert de Sheenboro fermera définitivement à compter du 26 avril, 2026 à 16h00.
Une journée pour le dépôt d’articles volumineux aura lieu :
Dimanche 17 mai 2026, de midi à 16 h.
Les résidents pourront y déposer les articles volumineux ainsi que :
- Huile et Peinture
- Pneus
- Ferraille
Veuillez noter : Aucun matériau de construction ne sera accepté ce jour-là.
La municipalité continuera d’offrir un service d’élimination des branches et des feuilles. Les résidents qui souhaitent déposer ces matériaux sont priés de communiquer avec les bureaux municipaux afin de prendre les dispositions nécessaires.
**Si vous ne possédez pas les conteneurs appropriés pour la collecte à domicile, veuillez communiquer avec les bureaux municipaux pour organiser la livraison au 819-689-5022 ou par courriel au admin.sheenboro@mrcpontiac.qc.ca.**
Le conseil municipal est actuellement en négociations avec les municipalités d’Isle Aux Allumettes et de Chichester afin d’établir un écocentre qui sera accessible à tous les résidents prochainement.
