The Municipality of Sheenboro is looking for a responsible youth to join our team for the 2026 summer season.
The public works team is responsible for the maintenance, repair and cleanliness of public infrastructures. It is a great opportunity to work outdoors surrounded by beautiful local scenery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf076 Assist in keeping the roads and ditches clean
\uf076 Maintaining cleanliness of municipal infrastructures
\uf076 Picking up and clearing brush
\uf076 Painting
\uf076 Lawn Maintenance
\uf076 Occasional office duties<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf076 The candidate must be between the age of 15 and 30 years old
\uf076 Be a student returning to full time studies in the fall of 2026
\uf076 Must possess excellent communication skills, professionalism and reliability
\uf076 Open availability, including weekends
\uf076 Ability to perform well in a team and independently
\uf076 Ability to perform physically demanding tasks when required
\uf076 Have a good knowledge of customer service skills
\uf076 Valid drivers\u2019 licence and vehicle is an asset<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Duration
This position is seasonal and available for 8 weeks at 35 hours per week. Candidate will begin work on June 29th, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hourly wage
$16.60\/hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n
