In November 2025<\/strong>, the Municipality released an initial information sheet explaining the provincial changes to residual waste management and the transition to a three-stream curbside collection system (recycling, garbage, and organics). This new information sheet continues that exchange by providing practical details based on recent discussions with the contractor, including collection days, bin placement requirements, and an overview of accepted materials. Additional details will be shared in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Collection Schedule \u2013 Municipality of CHICHESTER<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Collection begins at 7:00 a.m.<\/strong> Bins must be placed at the roadside before 7:00 a.m.<\/strong> on collection day. Bin Placement<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Collection will take place on municipal roads only<\/strong>. Residents located along private roads must ensure their bins are brought to the municipal road shoulder for collection. Bins must be placed at the end of the driveway, with the wheels slightly off the roadway and the lid facing the street. A clearance of approximately 1 metre (3 feet) around the bin is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bins must not be placed in, on, or behind snowbanks. Property owners may create a cleared area or platform for this purpose.
